Have you wondered where I have been? I have truly missed you. I have still been creating, but I haven’t had time to post my projects with you. If you follow me on YouTube or Instagram you have still saw some of my Simple Creations.
I have been subbing at the school my girls go to since February full time. Because of working 3 jobs I haven’t found the time to spend blogging like I want to. I am sorry, I am trying to balance life during this season I am in. I find myself only able to create on the weekends that we don’t have plans.
A few weeks ago I took a really hard test, that I crammed the whole weekend for it, so I could qualify to be a Special Education ParaProfessional. I am so excited I passed the test. It was only with God’s help. Since I passed the ParaPro Test I was hired for the job I have been working at, at the school. So there are some exciting changes in my life.
The same day I took my test we went to a White Sox’s game as a family. Even though we went on a school night, and left by the 7th inning, it was so much fun. It was a nice get away and break to the business of life. It is important to take time and make memories with family.
To create this card I used:
Paper: Jackson Paper Pack #X7195B
Stamps: Snapshot Meomories #D1648,
Ink: Glacier #Z2641, Cocoa #Z2114, Ruby Z2170
Triangle Studs #Z1928
To stamp on this card I used a masking technique. That means I covered part of the card to stamp it in 2 different colors. First, I stamped the phrase on a scrap paper. Then, I cut it out to seperate the parts that I wanted to stamp in different colors. Finally, I placed the scrap paper over the spots I wanted to hide each time I stamped it.
To finish off the card I used Liquid Glass on the word Life and on the Love It splat.
